Well here it is Christmas week and this is the slowest of the slow. So we are all making preparations to see family and just enjoy the season.
I must say my mind isn't much into work either. I am trying to finalize plans to bring my grandson down for a week so that's keeping me pretty busy.

Man oh Man is this the season to be slow! I knew this time of year would be slow for home business activity but I had no idea how slow!!
The visitors to my sites have dropped to 50% of what they were earlier in the year and those visitors interested in starting any work at home projects has been reduced by another 40%. It is very hard to maintain a respectable profit margin at that rate, however since my costs are in line, anything I spend to generate traffic will be amply rewarded with respective business volume.
I have spent the last couple of days investigating the process of writing articles to publish. This is a fabulous way to generate almost unlimited unique traffic to a web site if it is done properly. Which of course is always the way of things. Anything can be profitable in the home business field if it is done right. So we need to learn the best way to use the tools we have available to do the job.
So I will probably spend the rest of this "slow time" to learn from those who know how to write and publish article so I can take advantage of this method of marketing.
If you are one who is reading this but not yet involved in a home business, use this time to visit our various sites on the links list and check things out. Use your money for the holidays but then come back to the ideas that caught your eye and begin on a bright new career after the holidays.
I better get busy researching since as you can tell I need a lot of help in learning to write something meaningful.

If you are new to the work at home arena you will probably not be surprised to hear that this time of the year is very slow for our business. Unless you are working a home retail business, it is to be expected that folks just don't have the money or inclination to spend it on a business venture. Well what should I do? you may ask.
I suggest you concentrate your energy this time of year working on your marketing strategies, improving your web site(if you have that access), and just in general positioning yourself to get off to a fast start after the holidays.
You notice a definite decline in activity this time of year and the temptation is to pump more money into advertising or whatever you are using to generate traffic. Be careful! All that will do is increase your budget. You may see a rise in traffic but your ROI is not going to change. If it was 1% on $100, it is going to be 1% on $200.
I suggest you take care of all those little things that you have been putting off till later cause guess what, it's later! Get yourself positioned for '07 and then relax and enjoy the holidays. Trust me, starting in January you are going to get very busy because then everyone is going to need money to pay for all that stuff.

The Driving Force
The only way you are going to succeed with a Work At Home Opportunity is if you have a definite goal that youwant to achieve when all is said and done. If you do not have a specific goal that you want to achieve with your business, you will never be successful. You will have no direction.......no destination in mind tomake it worth the journey.
I have several goals that I want to accomplish working my business. Today I am reminded of number one because it is ONLY 20 degrees outside today!!!! The sun is shining brilliantly but to no use. It is not warming upanything. What a waste of a perfectly good sun!
I have a dream to live in Florida not only when I am retired but NOW! I determined that this was not going to be possibleworking for someone else. You ned to realise the same thing......you will never be truly free working or someone else!I don't care how much you make working for them, your income can dry up in a flash due to a miriad of differant reasons.
I am building my internet business since I can do it anywhere. All I need is my computer and a permanent addressto receive my checks. I could possibly be conducting business from the comfort of Southern Florida right thisminute, but like anything else, I want to make sure the business is good and solid before I start to liquidate my holding here and move there.
That is MY dream. YOU must have a goal, a dream that really drives you through the tough times and the lean times.Things are not going to always go the way you want or as fast as you want. So you must have the dream to keep yougoing strong. Write it down and post your goal somewhere that you can see it. Put up pictures if you have themand whatever you do, don't lose sight of them!

Affiliate programs are the latest in truly successful residual income strategies. They are the choice of online experts, and will be your choice too, if you take the time to master the skills for this business.

Great Support
Well I wasn't going to post today cause I figured you are sick of me by now, but I had to pass on what happened today.
I was presented with a potentially huge problem with my newest and soon to be biggest home business project early last week. It was a mix-up that could have put my new business right in the dumpster if I couldn't get the problem resolved! After my support rep finished putting up with my tirade, she politely told me that she would get with the proper folks and get our problem resolved. You notice she said OUR problem.
I talked with her today and was informed that the problem would be resolved within the next hour! I can't tell you how devastating this could have been without the proper support. As a result of that support my home business will be up and running again making me money!
So if you haven't read yesterdays post as yet pay particular attention to #1 on the list........it is imperative when choosing a work at home project for yourself. Without it you are like alone in a lifeboat with nowhere to go!
