Hi all, Let's talk about those who jump around from one business opportunity to another looking for the one.
It happens so often that a person will join a business opportunity, get started, and suddenly when they don't find themselves rolling in money, quit that one and go join another one. This usually occurs within the first 30-60 days after starting their business.
It is a documented fact that most new brick and mortar businesses take at least 3 years to become successful. That makes it a little unreasonable to expect your in home business to be a smashing success before you even get started. You need to find an opportunity that really appeals to you and then work it until you make it successful. Hee is what I suggest you do:
1. Chose the business that is right for you. Do as much research as necessary to make sure the business is legitimate and is a good fit for your abilities.
2. Find a mentor. Find someone who has been successful at what you are attempting and learn everything they have to teach and copy what they did to the letter.
3. Training, training, training. Get as much training materials as you can find. Make sure you get training in all aspects of what you are trying to do. For example; if you involve e-mail marketing in your business, then find training from an expert in e-mail marketing. If you are placing ads then read everything you can find about placing ads. And so forth.......you get what i mean.
4. Give it a chance. We have established there are no get rich quick businesses out there that are for real so success is going to take time. Some businesses take longer than others but in the long run once they are established they stick. Very Important: don't give up too soon!
Give your business the time to be a success. If you were excited enough to start it you hould be willing to take the time and effort to make it work. Don't jump around from one opportunity to the next looking for salvation. You are going to have to work at it and stick with what you start.
The only way you can fail is if you quit!
If you are doing things right you should see some kind of growth every month. If not something is wrong either with you or the opportunity. Take a look at the process and determine where the problem lies. I would say after a year if you are not where you need to be then that business is not for you. But do everything you can to make it work and stay with it.
Until next time

Schedule Your Time
Hi All,
Today I would like to ramble on about scheduling your time to take action in your home business. This really is something that involves planning and staying with the plan on a daily basis. Every home legitimate home business out there is going to take time to put together a successful, profitable program. Anyone who tells you different is not telling you the truth. So let's look at some good guidelines to set up a work schedule.
1. Pick a specific time every day that you are going to work. Let's say you get home from the job at 4:00 PM. You want to relax, get cleaned up, maybe eat some dinner, thenyou are ready to go. In this case then you want to set you're work schedule say from 6-8 PM. VERY IMPORTANT: this gives you the rest of the evening for family time.
2. Now you started at 6 PM make sure you stop at 8 PM. Trust me it is very easy to get all caught up in what you are doing because you are excited to get things going full blast. When the 8 o'clock hour comes around, call it a day. You will be all charged and ready to go the next day.
3. Pick your weekly schedule ie;Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or whatever days you are willing to spend building your business. I do Monday thru Friday but do not schedule any in home work on the weekend. Now if I get bored, especially if I am alone, I usually jump in and do something but I do not schedule any time on the weekend. I got enough of that from the job.
4. Make sure you are making meaningful progress on building your business and not just busy work. If nothing else find some training materials relating to marketing or PPC or whatever concerns your business and go thru it so that it might help you somewhere down the road.
5. Stay with your work schedule no matter what or how long it takes. It is very easy to say "I think I'll skip today there isn't much hapening anyway". That is the kiss of death! Soon you find yourself taking off more than you are working. Remember to be accountable to the boss and you are it! If what you are doing doesn't feel right, it probably isn't.
That's about it in a nutsheel, but it is very important if you are commited to making a better life for yourself and your family. Once you get your business built into this monster that runs on auto-pilot, you can be as lazy as I am...er, I mean, as you want to be. Until then stay focused and stay commited to the task at hand.
Until next tiime...Best of Luck,
Terry

Super Monday
What a great day this is! Yea I know it's Monday but this one is special. THE COLTS ARE HEADED TO MIAMI!
Living in Franklin , IN it certainly is to have the hometown Colts playing in the Superbowl in two weeks. It is a testiment to what can be done with hard work and a vision.
We can all take an example from the work ethic and determination of Peyton Manning and the rest of the Indianapolis Colts. (You just knew I was going to get around to business).
Anyway, we are really excited about the next two weeks around here. I might even go to Miami.
I won't be able to attend the game but I could suffer through the weather for a couple of days!
Until next time,
Terry

The PPC Kingdom
Hi all,
Hope things are going well for you. There are some exciting new things going on out there in internetland. One of the most exciting is perhaps an answer for the PPC dictatorship that we have all been subjected to these days. If you are new to the scene and have no idea what I am talking about, let me explain......
Dealing with PPC providers in the past concerning marketing your particular product with a PPC campaign has always been a tricky situation with keywords and ad content and so forth. The process has always been more trial and error than anything. Then of course you had to bid for placement as to get the most exposure for as little as possible.
Well then suddenly one of them has gone on this crusade to "clean up" their ad programs by eliminating anything they feel is not up to their strict standards. But who knows what those standards are because they won't tell you. It just seems whatever stikes them as not measuring up.
Many of us feel it is just another avenue they have chosen to send the price higher once again.
Well the answer to this problem may lie in what is called Co-Registration. We have probably all seen this at work but didn't really know what we were looking at when we saw it. If you ever registered for a newsletter or information on a particular site and when you clicked "submit" you were directed to another page that showed a number of other products you could ask about, that is coregistration. It is a method of getting a massive number of leads at a very reasonable cost, and they are already opted in to receive your email.
The problem has always been that it took a large dollar commitment to launch your campaign, which of course makes it difficult for the little guy to get started. I am working with some very smart people who are going to show me how to get started at a cost even I can manage. Then goodbye PPC forever!
You may want to look into coreg if you haven't already. It is becoming more affordable for the little guy like me.
Until next time...good luck in your success,
Terry

Email marketing
Hi all. We hear about the effectiveness of email marketing all the time. Since I am relatively new to the internet marketing scene, I have done some trials on every ad method I can find, including email marketing.
First of all be sure that every recipient of your email has opted in to receive it and supply a link where they can opt out. Be very careful that you follow these guidelines as you could be banned from any further communications which would cripple your ability to market effectively. Your best bet is to contract an autoresponder and then simply load your messages into it. Then you capture the customers email address and away you go. I highly recommend this method since the customer has asked for the info in the first place so your chances of making future sales is VERY good.
On the other hand, have experimented with these email companies and found the results very disapointing. These companies have lists of clients who have opted into receive emails from them. You pay them to send emails containing your message to targeted customers looking for what you offer. Based on my results I prefer to think that the are people who sign up to get paid to read emails. Companies send them emails, they click on them to read, and are paid say 5 cents for each one they click on.
Well as you can figure out this is not very effective for you. Your best bet is to capture your own emails with a website and capture form, and market them yourself. Once they opt in, have a series of emails setup containing your message set to go out at certain intervals over whatever period of time you choose. Now you can promote whatever you want, whenever you want. AND the monthly fee for the responder is much less than you would pay for the bulk mailing. About $19/month compared to $30-whatever depending on what you want EVERY time you mail.
So although I don't know much at this point I do know that purchasing bulk email advertising is not very effective.
Until next time

1st WEEK
Well it is Friday and the first week of the new year is about done. As expected the work at home market has picked up considerable interest since the holidays. Everyone needs money now to pay off those Xmas bills.
I am more than happy to help you out in that respect by offering you any of my opportunities at no obligation. Just log onto any of the links to the right and take a look. Everything is guaranteed and legitimate.
The best part of this business is getting a chance to help people get the opportunity they deserve to get ahead a little bit. So if I can make a difference in your life financially that's what it's all about.
I can only lead you to the water, but you have to do the drinking. Take some time to look at the home business ranked as the #1 Home Based Business 3 years in a row. It costs nothing to look and nothing to try it for 30 days. It could change your life!
To Your Success,

Post Holiday
Well it's been awhile but the time has come to get back to work! Hope everyone had a great holiday season. I am greatful that the "slow" is over!! Boy what a difference starting on Tuesday, the 26th.
I would like to send you this precautionary note when searching for work at home opportunities, try to stay clear of the so called "scam" sites that present themselves as a forum. Common sense would tell us that an internet forum for people to air their opinions about internet business scams is going to contain only negative opinions.
Someone posts a question about the reliability of ABC Home Business Company and then everyone and their brother jump in about what a super scam it is to join. Occasionally sprinkled in is an honest sole who says "well I joined in whatever year and have done very well working with that company". The response to that is something like "well it is glad to hear from the owner of ABC Company.........".
So you see where this is going.......nowhere. When someone puts up a web site that invites opinions about scams, that's what they are going to get. You can probably find any business you are investigating on ALL such sites because there will always be some numbnuts who thought he should be rich in a week!!!
If you want to investigate a home business the right way find the sites that actually research and evaluate each site and then post their findings for you to be the judge as to business legitimacy. Don't take the word of some moron who can't balance his own checkbook.
There are many sites that will help you out but the one I like the best is Mark Hodges' www.dontgetscammedagain.com Check it out or see if you can find a few more sites that do the same thing.
Those scam forums make for great entertainment but have little value otherwise.
